A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Ivy is married with four children. She has been employed at Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility since 1994 and serves as Executive Assistant to the Administrative Services Division and the Business Services Department. She earned an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business Administration Specializing in Management at St. Leo University. She completed the Administrative Assistant Certificate Program at Christopher Newport University. Ivy served as Secretary on the Executive Board for the Marching Elites Drill Team Association in Hampton, Virginia. A member of Queen Street Baptist Church, Hampton, Virginia, she served as a member of the Finance and Budget Committees. |

Kim is a native of New York City and has lived in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia for almost 14 years and has been married for 15 years. She is a registered nurse and received her BSN from Lehman College, City University of New York. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau. Currently, Kim is the branch director for a home health company and has been with the organization for 13 years. She serves as the recording secretary for her court of the Ladies Auxiliary of Peter Claver and also serves as the Lead Lay Eucharistic Minister in her home Church, St. Vincent DePaul. Her goals for the future are to strengthen her relationship with God and family, to pursue a Masters in Business Administration, and to establish DID as a successful women owned business. This success will be gauged by the development of this company as multifaceted, establishment of an advocacy/mentor program for teenagers and development of a Network of women who support other women. |

Denise M. Waldon – born in Durham, North Carolina to the late Robert J. Page and Carol M. Waldon. The mother of 1 son – Jonathan David Waldon. Denise is attends Gethsemane Baptist Church in Newport News, VA under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. Dwight Riddick. She is a member of the Early Morning and Sanctuary Choirs and the Praise Team, and also works with the Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Denise is an Alta Worker as well, and is “willing to serve wherever the Lord leads and guide me.” Employed as a government contractor, she enjoys traveling, singing and spending time with her son. Denise is an avid book reader and often engages in book discussions. Her scriptural motto – Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. (Prov. 3:5-6) |

A native of Charlotte, NC, Sarah is married with two children. She is a professional wardrobe consultant for Mr. K's Big and Tall men's store. Past experiences include a management position with a professional modeling agency which had offices throughout the US and abroad. She feels her most rewarding return to give to the future was her position as manager and director of a child care center. She has continued her schooling and has been licensed in the field of Early Child Care Development through Georgia Technical University in Atlanta. A member of Fairview Baptist Church, her husband is an ordained Deacon and she holds a Deaconess position. Hobbies include, but not limited to, gardening, decorating, traveling when time permits, and reading her favorite book, the Bible. Sarah's business goal is to one day own and operate a Child Care Development Center. Other interests -- hot rod cars, golfing, and boating. Favorite view - her back yard filled with playing and happy children. Her spiritual thought to start each and every day: "Lean thine arms awhile upon the windowsill of Heaven and glaze upon the Lord. Then with the vision in thy heart, turn strong to meet thy day".
